bio

I graduated with the first class through the Victoria campus of West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2002.  For the next five years I worked at a reputable sports therapy clinic gaining experience with running and cycling injuries and pre and post event sports massage. Also in my years of practice I have helped many by offering regular therapeutic relaxation massage with or without deep tissue work.  Some specific training I draw upon to give you the most benefit is myofascial work or trigger point therapy which compliment swedish massage to increase the effectiveness. Visceral manipulation is also an area of special interest that I continue to study.  Above all, I take pride in my professionalism and respect given in every treatment.

In 2013 I moved in to a new location and built a private home office in Cadboro Bay.  It has been a wonderful space to offer massage therapy and since graduating 17 years ago, I continue and look forward to many more years of being able to offer therapeutic massage.  I enjoy my work helping people with their 'aches and pains' whether it arises from chronic tension, an injury, disease or job related, massage therapy is an effective way to improve your overall sense of well being.  I am currently available on a part-time work schedule because two little boys have me 'booked' full-time  :)

experience

I first gained practical experience in the WCCMT school clinic working with teachers guiding me through my first year of patient care and a case study report on chronic tension headaches.  After graduating and successfully completing the BC College of Massage Therapists'  Board Exams to gain registration to practice massage therapy I started work in two Chiropractic offices and by 2003 I joined the Cedar Hill Sports Therapy clinic and worked in a full-time, full practice for five years.  This was a very busy clinic and I saw patients of all ages for a variety of reasons including frozen shoulder, tendonitis, muscle strain, pregnancy massage and arthritis management to name a few.   2008 brought a change as I moved to Apple Health and worked with Naturopaths  and Physiotherapists.  And finally in 2013 moving to Cadboro Bay.
